Gates at MIPM for children

‘Goal, goal!’ is the motto at MIPM Mammendorfer Institut für Physik und Medizin GmbH (MIPM) in support of SV Puch's youth football team.

With a donation of €1,500, MIPM is covering the costs of purchasing two football goals for the club's youth teams. ‘It is important to us to support the work of sports clubs at a local level, and in particular youth work,’ says Jennifer Rosenheimer (Managing Director and former footballer herself).

The sports club in Puch, a district to the west of Fürstenfeldbruck, has seen an enormous increase in membership in recent months. It is noticeable that children and young people in particular want to get back into sport after the many restrictions imposed by the pandemic and experience the team spirit of team sports. SV Puch has traditionally prioritised youth work, but the small club has reached its limits in recent months. There are now over 80 children and young people training in two G-Youth and F-Youth teams as well as one E-Youth and one D-Youth team. Unfortunately, the club only had two youth football goals at its disposal; too few for the parallel training operations required for so many teams.

‘The purchase of two more football goals for the youth teams had simply become necessary, but the total cost of around €1500 was a challenge for us,’ says Uli Eichhorn, the club's first chairman. He is delighted with the support from MIPM: ‘The entire SV Puch club and, of course, our youth section in particular, we are all very grateful to the MIPM family for this generous donation!’
