Start your MIPM professional life

Luis Schiffhauer and Raphael Schweitzer, who were taken on at the MIPM Mammendorfer Institute for Physics and Medicine GmbH (MIPM) after 3 years of training as skilled electronics technicians for devices and systems, are now heading straight into their professional lives.

This was a reason for Jennifer Rosenheimer, Managing Director of MIPM, to ring the success bell. Together with their trainer Florian Warmuth, the two young men completed their training as electronics technicians for devices and systems in a shortened period. Starting in September 2020, Warmuth will be training a total of 7 apprentices in different years, solely in the technical field. In total, there will be 13 apprentices at MIPM, which corresponds to a training rate of 22%.

Florian W. also completed his apprenticeship at MIPM and then finished his master craftsman training in evening school.

"It's not just the unique AZUBI car that makes the apprenticeship at MIPM so special, but also the diverse tasks, areas of responsibility, and the simply great support from our trainer Flo," said Raphael Schweitzer, who now closely supports the production management in planning MRI-compatible products.

Luis was also hired as a skilled worker after his apprenticeship. "I am happy to take care of our MRI-compatible devices in the service department. Not only in Germany but also worldwide, which makes working at MIPM very varied," said Luis Schiffhauer.

However, the topic of training is not yet finished for both of them. They will continue to mentor and train the new apprentices at MIPM. The newly qualified skilled workers will also explore what further training opportunities are available with the MIPM family.
