After just 21 months of training, Joshua von Gernet and MIPM Mammendorfer Institut für Physik und Medizin GmbH have trained a new specialist in record time.
New specialist at MIPM
When Joshua von Gernet enquired in 2020 whether MIPM would take him on from another company so that he could continue his training, the answer was yes. ‘We are happy to support people who want to do an apprenticeship and we are happy to take them by the hand.’ Says Jennifer Rosenheimer, Managing Director and herself a qualified industrial electronics technician.
Joshua started his time in the MIPM family in April 2020 during his first year of training. He proved himself to be a committed trainee in a very short time and was therefore allowed to shorten his apprenticeship. Together with MIPM, Joshua was able to successfully and proudly complete his training in January 2022 after just 21 months as an electronics technician for devices and systems.
MIPM is currently training 9 apprentices, which corresponds to a training quota of 13%.
MIPM is still looking for trainees for 2022. The company takes its responsibility for training very seriously, not only by providing each trainee with a mentor who supports them throughout their training, but also by providing a unique trainee car.
‘I am very grateful that MIPM took me on back then and actively supported me during my training.’ Says Joshua von Gernet. He is very much looking forward to his role in the service department, repairing the nuclear spin-compatible devices and liaising with dealers worldwide.
MIPM is already looking forward to Joshua being able to pass on what he has learnt internally to the new trainees and also allowing them to participate in such extensive training.
