Once again this year, MIPM Mammendorfer Institut für Physik und Medizin GmbH (MIPM) is not sending out Christmas cards, but is supporting kunterbunt lokal. With donations totalling over €3,000.00, MIPM was able to help a wide range of organisations/associations and support them in carrying out charitable work in the local area.

FSV Aufkrichen raffle with numerous prizes from MIPM
Fire Department Mammendorf (Self-help in case of flooded basement areas):
MIPM supported the volunteer fire department of Mammendorf in procuring three so-called citizen pumps, which are intended to be usable not only by specialists. The acquisition of these pumps is meant to relieve firefighters during flooding caused by heavy rain. When an alarm is received, a fire department leader assesses the extent of the damage on-site to decide whether the fire department's intervention is necessary or if citizens can pump out the water themselves as part of self-help. The citizen pumps thus serve as free support for citizens when the fire department cannot or is not allowed to intervene. The procurement cost per pump set, including accessories, is €1,640.94. MIPM covered all these costs. MIPM has been supporting the fire department financially and ideologically for many years. In 2016, MIPM received the "Partner of the Fire Department Mammendorf" award from the municipality of Mammendorf. MIPM was particularly recognized because the local company employs volunteer firefighters and supports them in performing their fire service duties.
Action Against Hunger:
MIPM also donated €500.00 to Action Against Hunger, one of the leading organizations in the fight against malnutrition. The organization supports more than 26 million people in 51 countries and regions.
CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission in Germany:
MIPM donated another €500.00 to CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission in Germany, which helps people with disabilities in the Global South.
Rotary Munich-West (Advent Calendar):
MIPM donated a total of €250.00 for 50 "GewinnGewinnAdventskalender 2022" to the Rotary Club Munich-West, which also supports local organizations/clubs with the donation proceeds.
FSV Aufkirchen:
MIPM supported FSV Aufkirchen with numerous prizes for their annual raffle. These included lunch boxes, mugs, playing cards, pens, umbrellas, bags, gummy bears, disinfectants, and more.
