MIPM supports the sports equipment at the Mammendorf swimming lake with a donation of €2,000

Winter has arrived and for many animals it means hibernation. At MIPM Mammendorfer Institut für Physik und Medizin GmbH (MIPM), however, it's time to get moving with joint sports sessions at the workplace.

The health of each individual is important. MIPM has therefore set up a company health management programme (BGM) which, among other things, supports employees in being healthier at work. This includes joint workouts at the workplace, but also joint specialist lectures on high-performance nutrition. But it doesn't stop there. The ingredients for the recipes suggested there are provided to the MIPM family to broaden their horizons for healthy eating.

‘I simply enjoy doing something good for our health together with my colleagues, whether young or old, and also realising a wide variety of health projects,’ says Lukas Westermair, who has been actively involved in the team from the very beginning and contributes ideas to offer employees even more. ‘BGM also strengthens the cohesion within the MIPM family, which has always been very important anyway.’

In addition, MIPM once again supported the Mammendorf Leisure Park Development Association with a donation of €2,000 for the project ‘Creation of a fitness trail around the swimming lake in the Mammendorf leisure park’. This project enables people to exercise in the fresh air. The fitness trail fell on fertile ground with the management in order to create a further opportunity for our employees to find a balance.

‘We want to achieve a balance between work and health and are very much involving our employees in this,’ says Jennifer Rosenheimer, Managing Director. ‘We all know that we sit too much. With our short sports sessions several times a week, we offer another way to prevent illness,’ says Rosenheimer.
