Since January 5, 2019, the approximately 200-meter-long MIPM lift at Landsberieder Filzberg has been in operation. Young and old tested the MIPM lift at the opening and raced down the Filzberg on skis, snowboards, or sleds. Afterwards, the winter sports enthusiasts warmed up with mulled wine and children's punch.

The joy was evident on the faces of the winter sports enthusiasts, as the ski lift had been on the verge of closing after around 40 years. The previous owner had to give it up due to age. Fortunately, three friends from Ammersee, Yves Eisenreich, Benedikt Fuchs, and Florian Keller, took on the task of reviving the Filzberg.

The Mammendorf Institute for Physics and Medicine (MIPM GmbH) supports the ski lift. Hence the new name MIPM lift, as the institute had a say in the naming as a sponsor. The Mammendorf company once again shows itself as a local supporter. "We find the Filzberg important," explains MIPM junior manager Jennifer Rosenheimer. "It is unique in the surrounding area. Not least, the Filzberg is ideal for learning to ski." MIPM wishes the new operators much success, snow, and winter sports enthusiasts. With a continuous snow cover, the MIPM lift is open on weekdays from 2 PM to 5 PM and on weekends, holidays, and school vacations from 10 AM to 5 PM.
