MIPM – Introduction of care guides for even more family friendliness

Three women from the MIPM family have volunteered to train as care guides: Elisabeth Rosenheimer (Head of Finance & HR Management), Eva Anderton (Quality Management Assistant), and Anita Förg (Reception).

The goal is to offer initial collegial advice to employees. Often, a care situation arises suddenly, and navigating all the regulations and decisions can be very difficult. From now on, the care guides in the MIPM family will support their colleagues. Few have experience with care issues and thus have a point of contact. The three care guides will support with their acquired expertise but also want to be there when emotions become overwhelming.

"My motivation is the personal experience of the brief care and death of my parents last year," said Anderton, who would have been grateful to have a contact person in the company to help with the many decisions at that time.

"Our care guides want to convey confidence and support on behalf of MIPM," said HR Manager Patricia Arnold. Family friendliness does not only mean being there for employees with children, for example, to support childcare. Balancing work and family also means supporting employees with dependent relatives, regardless of age.

For the guides, it was both personal development and an interest in supporting people when a care situation arises at home or in the environment.

"I was very pleased to be selected as a care guide," said Anita Förg.

"We are proud to have such employees who take on new tasks and want to help," said Patricia Arnold.

The care guides aim to show that you don't have to face a care situation alone. Anita Förg and Eva Anderton are clear examples of what family friendliness means at MIPM: They have successfully re-entered the company as classic returnees.
