MIPM on a hearty raft trip

At 6:30 a.m., it is usually still quite quiet in front of the Mammendorf Institute for Physics and Medicine (MIPM GmbH). But on July 5th, most of the MIPM family had already gathered there to wait for the bus. The family, all dressed in white or blue MIPM shirts, took the bus to the raft landing in Wolfratshausen and boarded their raft there. Then, with food and drink included, they continued on the floating logs on the Isar River to Munich, to the raft landing in Thalkirchen. The Oktoberfest band "Dreisam" provided entertainment on board. In pleasant temperatures, the MIPM family spent a wonderful day in the fresh air. "We spend most of our company outings in the fresh air," says junior manager Jennifer Rosenheimer. "In recent years, for example, we have hiked to Andechs or the Obere Maxlraineralm. It is part of our company philosophy to recharge in the fresh air, enjoy nature, and explore our beautiful Upper Bavarian region." Jennifer Rosenheimer hopes to invite even more colleagues to the next outing in the fresh air, as new employees are needed in every area. From Thalkirchen, the MIPM family took the bus back to Mammendorf. However, the company outing was not yet over: in the evening, the entire staff, along with families and partners, was invited to a barbecue. Partners and children of employees are always welcome at MIPM, as the institute is truly a family business.
