Research sealed

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, MIPM (Mammendorf Institute for Physics and Medicine GmbH) was awarded the "Innovative through Research" seal of approval by the Stifterverband. The association thus recognizes the special responsibility of the Mammendorf Institute for the state and society in terms of research and innovation.

The development department at MIPM has grown significantly over the past 1.5 years, and it will continue to do so, as the new EU-MDR (Medical Device Regulation) will apply from May 2020. It stipulates that all – without exception, including those already on the market – medical devices must be recertified. Therefore, the Regulatory Affairs department, which is responsible for certifications, will need to be significantly expanded. MIPM is therefore looking for reinforcements, not only for Regulatory Affairs.

The Stifterverband is a joint initiative of companies and foundations that, among other things, examines and evaluates the German research and innovation system. One of the central questions is how this system affects Germany's future viability.
