For weeks, the MIPM family has been collecting ballpoint pens, felt-tip pens, gel pens, and other writing tools. Recently, MIPM junior manager Jennifer Rosenheimer and MIPM employee Silvia Adelhoch handed over the pens to the Orlando-di-Lasso secondary school. The reason for this extraordinary donation: The MIPM family, like the secondary school, participated in the "Pens Make Girls Strong" campaign initiated by the Women's World Day of Prayer.
The idea to join the campaign came from MIPM employee Silvia Adelhoch. Silvia personally approached the management to see if the family would like to participate. The enthusiasm was great. By recycling pens, the Women's World Day of Prayer supports a team of teachers and psychologists who provide schooling for 200 Syrian girls in a refugee camp in Lebanon. In addition, Jennifer Rosenheimer and Silvia Adelhoch handed over a box of old mobile phones to the Maisach secondary school. The mobile phones are collected and properly recycled as part of the Handyaktion Bayern. There has long been a connection between the Mammendorf Institute and the Maisach secondary school: Many former Orlando-di-Lasso students now work in the MIPM family. Even now, the MIPM family is still looking for apprentices in the technical field.
